Yizkor Booklet

Dear Members and Friends,

Every year Anshei Chesed Congregation publishes a Yizkor booklet which contains the text of the Yizkor service and additional communal prayers which do not appear in a typical siddur or Machzor. Our members use this opportunity to commemorate our loved ones whose memories we choose to honor at Yizkor. We invite you to confirm or update the listings with any changes or additions in time for the publication of the 5785 booklet, which will be used at the 4 Yizkor services from Yom Kippur through Shavuos. The deadline is September 15, 2024.  If you participated last year, click here for last year's Yizkor booklet to view your submissions.

Through participating in this project and supporting our shul we fulfill, in part, the commitment we make when we ask Hashem to remember the souls of our dear departed ones because we are giving charity on their behalf.

Donations

  • Standard listing of your loved ones is $54 for the first 4 names. (In most situations, 4 names will suffice.)
  • Additional listings may be added at the rate of $18 per name.
  • A full page is available for $180 in which you may list as many people as you like.  These listings may be in English and/or Hebrew.  You may click here to view a sample full page.

Instructions for Submitting names

  • Please list each name of the departed individually on separate lines.
  • Please avoid a dual entry such as “Mr. and Mrs. Lastname.”
  • If you are using the printable forms, please write as clearly as possible to facilitate the data entry process and ensure the accuracy of the recording of the names.

Thank you very much for your attention to this matter. The deadline so we can print in time for Yom Kippur is September 15, 2024. Any names received after that time will unfortunately not be included.
